Our complete Telehealth Disclaimer is being finalised.
The full disclaimer — including the states in which our clinicians are licensed, the limits of asynchronous care, and how we handle clinical emergencies — will be published before patient services open at scale.
For questions about whether we can serve you in your state, please write to care@zashel.com.
What you should know.
Zashel provides clinical care via telehealth — that is, through written assessments, asynchronous review by a licensed clinician, and digital follow-ups. Telehealth is well-suited to many conditions, including the patterns of hair loss we treat. It is not a replacement for all in-person care.
When telehealth is appropriate
Telehealth works well when a clinician can read your story, your history, and your photographs and reach a confident clinical impression. It works less well when a physical examination, biopsy, or urgent intervention is needed.
When you should seek in-person care
- If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
- If you have sudden, severe, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
- If your clinician indicates that an in-person evaluation is needed — they will tell you so directly.
Clinician licensure.
Our clinicians are board-certified and licensed in specific U.S. states. We can only provide care to patients located in states where our clinicians are licensed. The published disclaimer will include the current list of states served.
What you consent to.
By beginning a Zashel assessment, you understand and consent to:
- Receiving care via telehealth, with the limits described above.
- The asynchronous nature of our practice — your clinician will respond within a stated window, but not in real time.
- The collection and processing of your health information for the purpose of providing care.
